Wildlife

The Osprey is a diurnal bird of prey. One of raptor family, it possesses a number of characteristics that enable it to successfully hunt fish. In particular, the outer toes are reversible, to easily enable them to grab slippery fish! Ospreys can be found around the world, and they generally mate for life.

Mott MacDonald is proud to support the RSPB as an Associate Member in line with our policies in the following areas:

In Scotland, one of the best places to glimpse an Osprey is the RSPB reserve at Loch Garten.
