Osprey: Analyse allows users to assess the impact that changes in traffic management and improvements in ITS have on the traffic flows and the environment, while allowing complex scenarios and trends to be investigated.
It proves a useful tool to monitor key performance indicators and to analyse before and after scheme implementation. A suite of data-loaders allows the system to collect data from various sources including Osprey: Control and other UTMC systems. Information is stored centrally, with the system providing web-based historical analysis and reporting facilities.
Data which can be analysed and compared includes:
- Journey times
- Traffic counts
- Car park occupancies
- Traffic events i.e. accidents, incidents, events and roadworks
- Strategic VMS sign settings
- SCOOT flow, speed, occupancy, green/inter-green time, cycle count, C02, NOX and PM10
As well as complex trend definition, the system provides a historic map view, allowing active interrogation of historic data.
